Session Schedule + Live Countdown
Your players see the next session date, time, and a live countdown timer. Add a player hook to tease what's coming. They'll never ask 'when do we play next?' again.
Player Portal
Give your players a single URL with everything they need between sessions — schedule, recaps, timeline, quests, roster, inventory, handouts, journals, polls, and more. Sixteen sections, each one yours to toggle on or off.
Your players see the next session date, time, and a live countdown timer. Add a player hook to tease what's coming. They'll never ask 'when do we play next?' again.
Players confirm attendance with a simple yes, no, or maybe — tied to their character name. You see who's coming at a glance before game day.
Your player-facing recaps, right on the portal — show the latest, the last three, or all of them. Anyone who missed a session can catch up without you retelling the story.
A visual chronicle of everything that's happened — sessions, battles, revelations, deaths, and milestones on one scrolling timeline. Players follow the whole story so far in one place.
Create quests with objectives your players can follow. Mark objectives complete as the story progresses. Active quests show on the portal; completed and failed ones stay in your records.
The party lineup with portraits and details. Reveal exactly what you want per character — appearance, personality, backstory, ability scores, combat stats — and keep the rest hidden.
A who's-who of the NPCs and monsters the party has met. Pick who appears, and reveal details on your terms — a handy 'who was that again?' reference between sessions.
Your party's loot in one place, grouped by who's carrying what — rarity, type, and quantity at a glance. Unidentified items stay mysterious. The party purse is tracked alongside.
Share rich markdown handouts — letters, maps, prophecies, faction briefings. Reveal sections one at a time as the story unfolds; unrevealed content stays completely hidden.
In-world newspaper broadsheets recapping your sessions. Players read them full-size on the portal — a fun, shareable way to keep the highlights alive between games.
Curate a gallery of campaign art — from images you've generated in Quill or your own uploads. Players can browse it in a lightbox and even submit their own for your approval.
Players write in-character journal entries between sessions. You approve them before they go live — a lightweight way to keep the story going without a shared doc.
An in-character message board where players leave notes for the group. You moderate everything — approve, pin, or hide. Coordination that lives with the campaign, not buried in Discord.
Post tasks for players before the next session — review the recap, update a character sheet, decide what to do about the letter. Players check items off and you see who's ready.
Gather feedback after each session — players rate it, share a favorite moment, and crown an MVP. Results are private to you and help your companion learn what your table loves.
Every section toggles on or off, and you choose per character, per item, and per issue what players see. Set a custom accent color so the portal looks like your campaign, not a template.
No. The portal is a public page — your players just bookmark the URL. No signup, no login, no app to install. They visit the link and see everything you've enabled.
Everything. Each section has its own toggle: session schedule, RSVP, quests, recaps, timeline, prep checklist, inventory, roster, NPCs, gallery, journals, tabloids, handouts, bulletin board, and polls. You pick what your players see.
Yes. Players can RSVP for sessions, check off prep items, write character journal entries, post on the bulletin board, and submit poll feedback — all without an account. Journal entries and bulletin posts require your approval before they appear.
The Player Portal is available on Tome ($7/mo) and Grimoire ($19/mo). The free Scroll tier includes individual share links for recaps, handouts, and timelines, but not the unified portal hub.
Yes. You can set a custom portal name, choose an accent color from presets or a custom hex value, and the portal automatically uses your campaign's banner image. Each portal feels like it belongs to your campaign.
The portal uses a unique 12-character URL slug. Only people with the link can see it — it's not indexed by search engines and doesn't appear in any public directory. You can disable the portal at any time to revoke access.
