What context does the companion have?+
The companion receives your active campaign, current scene, active beat, linked NPCs, party characters, and campaign tone. It knows what is happening right now in your session and responds accordingly.
Are there usage limits?+
Yes. Tome gets 200 companion messages, 25 scene suggestions, and 40 NPC dialogue generations per month. Grimoire gets 2,000 companion messages, 200 scene suggestions, and 200 NPC dialogue generations per month.
Can it generate NPC dialogue in character?+
Yes. The NPC dialogue feature uses the NPC's personality, backstory, faction, alignment, and relationship to the party to generate in-character responses. Grimoire tier also has persistent NPC memory that carries context across sessions.
