Rhapsodist

You improvise collaboratively, and you file everything. When a player does something unexpected and you say yes, you track where that yes goes. The story is genuinely built at the table, but the Rhapsodist remembers it and makes sure earlier choices echo forward. You're the showrunner of an improvised series: you didn't write the scripts, but you know the character arcs, the callbacks, the threads that need a payoff.

Players feel heard and feel the world is coherent. That combination is rare in pure improv. The session was genuinely improvised and the continuity held anyway. This is harder than it looks.

Strengths

• +Adapts to anything without losing internal logic; the most resilient improvisational style for long campaigns

Blind Spots

• -The mental tracking load is invisible until it breaks, and when it breaks, the continuity snaps loudly enough for everyone to notice
• -Can over-curate the improvised story, subtly steering toward coherent narratives rather than letting the table breathe in directions that don't neatly resolve.

The Tension

Continuity can get soft. The world can feel thin if the vision was never translated into documentation someone else could verify.
